Tributes have been pouring in for Miller after TMZ broke the news of his passing on Friday 7th September. Many fans voiced their heartbreak over the news, with some of Miller’s fans turning their grief to anger and sending a torrent of abusive messages to the rapper’s ex, Ariana Grande, blaming her for his death. Appearing in documentary, Stopped Making Excuses, Miller opened up about substance abuse in a very candid talk, and even made the chilling admission that he believed “you don’t go down in history because you overdosed. You just die”. “I get f.ked up, let’s keep it real,” he says. “I get super f.ked up, still, all the time.

That will never stop. But I’m in control of my life. I’m not f.ked up right now. I’m chillin.” He then added: “I’d rather be the corny white rapper than the drugged-out mess that can’t even get out of his house. Overdosing is just not cool. “There’s no legendary romance.

You don’t go down in history because you overdosed. You just die.”. The rapper also revealed that he had been struggling with depression in what would be his last ever interview with New York Magazine. He claimed: “I really wouldn’t want just happiness,” he told Jenkins about how he deals with hurt feelings and negativity.

“And I don’t want just sadness either. I don’t want to be depressed. I want to be able to have good days and bad days I can’t imagine not waking up sometimes and being like, ‘I don’t feel like doing sh.t.’ And then having days where you wake up and you feel on top of the world.” Celebrity tributes have been pouring in for the late music artist.
